1. Introduction

UniDownload is a free online video downloader that lets users paste a link from any supported platform — including YouTube, Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, Twitter / X, Reddit, Vimeo, Dailymotion, Twitch, Pinterest and LinkedIn — and download the video or its audio in the quality of their choice. The Service runs entirely in the browser and does not require an account, registration, or the installation of any software.

These Terms form a legally binding agreement between you and us. Please read them carefully. We may update these Terms from time to time, as described in Section 14 below.

2. Definitions

• "Service" means the UniDownload website and all its features, pages, tools and content.
• "User" means any person who accesses or uses the Service.
• "Content" means any video, audio, image, text or other material that a User downloads or attempts to download using the Service.
• "Platform" means any third-party website or service (such as YouTube or TikTok) from which Content is sourced.

3. Description of the Service

The Service allows Users to:

• Paste a video or page link from a supported platform;
• Fetch video information such as title, duration, uploader and available qualities (from 144p up to 8K where available);
• Download the selected video as a single MP4 file, or extract its audio as MP3 or M4A;
• Download every video from a playlist or multi-video page;
• Download videos directly from any public .mp4, .webm or .m3u8 link.

The Service is provided "as is" and availability of any particular platform, video or quality is not guaranteed. Some platforms may change their policies, technical formats or access restrictions, which can affect the Service temporarily or permanently.

4. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old to use the Service. If you are under 18, you confirm that you have obtained permission from your parent or legal guardian. By using the Service, you represent and warrant that you have the full legal capacity to enter into these Terms.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use the Service to:

• Download Content that you do not have the right to download or use;
• Infringe the copyright, trademark, privacy or other rights of any third party;
• Violate the terms of service of any Platform;
• Download illegal, unlawful, obscene, defamatory or harmful material;
• Attempt to disrupt, overload, hack or interfere with the Service, its servers or any connected network;
• Scrape, crawl or otherwise systematically collect data from the Service;
• Use automated tools, bots or scripts to generate excessive download requests.

6. Intellectual Property

The Service, including its design, text, graphics, logos and code, is owned by us or our licensors and is protected by copyright, trademark and other intellectual property laws. You may not copy, reproduce, distribute, sell or create derivative works from any part of the Service without our prior written consent.

All Content downloaded through the Service remains the property of its respective owners. We do not claim ownership of any video, audio or other material you download.

7. Copyright & Fair Use

UniDownload does not host, upload or store any video content on its servers. Downloaded files exist only temporarily on the server for the duration of the transfer and are automatically deleted. We encourage all Users to respect copyright law and the rights of content creators.

You are solely responsible for the Content you download and the way you use it. Downloading Content for personal, private, non-commercial use may be considered fair use in some jurisdictions, but it is your responsibility to verify what is permitted in your country and under the relevant Platform's terms.

8. Third-Party Links & Services

The Service may contain links to third-party websites and applications, including partner apps listed on our More Apps page. These links are provided for your convenience only. We have no control over the content, policies or practices of third-party sites and accept no responsibility for them. Your use of any third-party website is subject to that website's own terms and privacy policy.

9. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Service is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis, without warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement and accuracy.

We do not warrant that: (a) the Service will function uninterrupted, securely or error-free; (b) any platform, video or quality will be available at all times; (c) downloaded files will be free of defects or compatible with your device; or (d) results obtained from the Service will be accurate or reliable.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, in no event shall UniDownload, its operator, employees or agents be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or any loss of profits, data or goodwill, arising out of or related to your use of the Service, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages.

Our total aggregate liability for all claims arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Service shall not exceed the amount you paid us, if any, for the use of the Service during the 30 days preceding the claim.

11. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless UniDownload, its operator, officers, agents and affiliates from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of or in connection with: (a) your use of the Service; (b) your violation of these Terms; (c) your violation of any applicable law or the rights of any third party; or (d) any Content you download or share through the Service.

12. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service, in whole or in part, at any time and for any reason, including without limitation if we believe you have violated these Terms or engaged in abusive or unlawful activity. Upon termination, all rights granted to you under these Terms immediately cease. Sections 6, 7, 9, 10, 11 and 15 shall survive any termination of these Terms.

13. Changes to the Service

We are constantly improving UniDownload. We may modify, add, or remove features of the Service at any time, with or without notice. We are not liable to you or any third party for any modification, suspension or discontinuation of the Service.

14. Changes to These Terms

We may revise these Terms at any time by posting the updated version on this page. The updated Terms will take effect immediately upon posting unless stated otherwise. Your continued use of the Service after any changes means you accept the updated Terms. We encourage you to review this page periodically.

15. Governing Law & Disputes

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the jurisdiction in which the operator of UniDownload is located, without regard to its conflict-of-law provisions. Any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms shall be resolved through good-faith negotiations. If the dispute cannot be resolved, it shall be submitted to the competent courts of the operator's jurisdiction.

16. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found to be invalid, illegal or unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall continue in full force and effect. The invalid provision shall be replaced by a valid provision that most closely reflects the original intent.
